Why do I need a pool reel /roller?

Reels make life a lot easier, allowing one person to remove and replace the solar blanket in seconds. No more 2-person folding!

Your solar blanket attaches easily on this lightweight, though very stable, portable system, which can be rolled away. A reel provides convenient storage for your blanket while it's not on the pool and increases the life span of the blanket considerably by preventing damage due to creasing, tugging, dragging or folding. No solar blanket should be without one!

Do I have to swim with the reel on?

No, the reel is easily removed so you can fully use the pool when the cover is not required. It can be taken off and placed at the side of your pool or pivoted at 90 degrees.
